Finding Juliet Created & Performed by Marissa Moses Live Sound by Salas Artworks Saturday October 15, 2016 @ 4:30pm 3773 Crenshaw Blvd Los Angeles, CA For this showing, Marissa Moses collaborated with sound artist, Ray Salas of Salas Artworks. Using excerpts from one of Juliet's monologues from Shakespeare's R&J, and Maya Angelou's poem In All Ways A Woman, Salas and Moses use improvisation to weave these two iconic female voices into a conversation around the feminist struggle and the current discomfort of the moment. Performance Footage Rehearsal Footage Rehearsals were made possible through the support of Carol Katz of Paloma Street Studio.
