Marissa Moses takes part in Choreographic Residency

Marissa Moses will be exploring her new venture, The Juliet Project, during participation as in the Dance Resource Center's Terra Nova: A Home Grown Choreographic Residency. This residency is made possible with the support and generosity of MiModa Studio, Yasha J. Michelson, Theater Jazzo, the Department of Cultural Affairs, and Rosanna Gamson/World Wide.

About Terra Nova

In this residency Marissa will be working with Rosanna Gamson, a world re-known choreographer and respected teacher. This residency aims to reboot creative processes, through immersion into a rigorous and constructive setting. Finding new strategies to strengthen artistic voice and develop original body-based movement explorations through intensive creative re-examination, risk-taking, and growth. This residency provides a space to receive feedback from expert arts professionals, shared experience in a studio performance, and a conversation with the public, led by key community dance stakeholders.

About The Juliet Project

​The Juliet Project begins with the iconic character Juliet and her words. Using Shakespeare’s text as a catalyst to explore the universality of Juliet's emotional journey. Disembodying Romeo to take a look at what Juliet finds within herself throughout the course of the play.
