Marissa Moses offers a sacred space + workshop style environment for embodied artists, activists, and creative entrepreneurs who wish to deepen into their personal praxis (practice + theory), cultivate creative intimacy in a group environment with hearted-centered community, and explore the possibilities that emerge as we allow story, somatics, and the power of craft to heal personal and collective patterns.

Class Description
The focus of the A Sacred Theatre is to lean into an embodied creative practice that looks to intentionally spend time resonating in the space between things. This space between things is an opening, a gate to the creative channel, and an access point for performers, creators, and viewers alike. It is the conscious attunement to the life force that makes art come alive. It is a space designed to host safety between heart-centered creatives to bring their fears to the surface and allow their freedoms to practice safe flight. Creating an incubation space to be with unknown aspects of ourselves and one another where there is built-in practices rooted in cultivating deep safety for healing and emergent play. It is a place to feel the importance of both intimacy and autonomy between one another and the work we bring into form.
The landscape of this sacred workshop style class incorporates holistic approaches to voice, movement, somatic connection, and embodied expression. Coaching exercises are designed to promote access and exploration of the creative channel in a safe and supportive environment where we can practice relating with ourselves and one another's creative energies is mutually supportive and encouraging ways. This work promotes understanding between ourselves, one another, personal + collective experiences of environment and the greater world.
A Sacred Theatre explores philosophies centered around spiritual practice and embodied artistry being synonymous. This class invites integration of universal and personal truths to feel the foundation of each artist's voice, and uncover personal strengths while healing intergenerational story-arcs and liberating aspects of the fractured self.
Performing Artists, Conscious Creatives, and Body-Based Practitioners of all disciplines and modalities are welcome to attend.
*Please bring water, wear clothes that are comfortable and contained to move in, journal + pen, and any additional resources for somatic support integration you might like. Ex: yoga mat, bolster, pillow, blanket, etc)

Marissa Moses is a multi-passionate artist. She has a depended practice generating work and practicing as an actor, dancer, creative artist, producer, arts administrator, and healing arts practitioner.
